Your customers are most likely to check on your company background first before even talking to you and chances are they will look you up on your website. You could perhaps call this our specialty. Well if you want the real industry term of this form of design, its called “USABILITY BASED DESIGN”. But we thought that the name wasn’t flashy enough, so we called it IDIOT PROOF DESIGN. It just makes it a whole lot easier to read. We specialize in Idiot Proofing your Designs. What does that mean? Well ever wonder how many websites are just designed plain badly? Well you could call this a result of the dot com fallout. Many “Web Professionals” come about today by picking up a “For Dummies” book read it through in a couple of hours and call themselves web professionals. As a result a lot of sites that get put up on the web are not as ideal as they should be and instead become walking horrors of nightmares on the net, projecting images to the public, like “unprofessional”, “cheap” and even “sloppy”. But that’s perfectly fine; IF that is the right image you want to project for your business. Most of our clients don’t.
Our head usability expert has previously worked with some of the top people in the field like Peter Foley (UK), and with clients from international Telco’s, a top Finnish mobile phone maker whose brand starts with the Letter “N” and ends with the letter “A” (which we can’t name because we don’t want to get ourselves sued). So we’d like to think we have got this Idiot Proof Design thing under our belt.
